Kat was my doula (with Steph as a back up doula) and Dana (the owner) was always accessible if needed. I felt so loved and cared for since the moment I signed on with them. All 3 of them created a sense of warmth and confidence that I really needed during a difficult pregnancy. I’m so grateful for the emotional support they provided and how immediately accessible this support was. Aside from being very reasonable in price, this company really goes above and beyond to provide multiple supports to you during your pregnancy - which is not something I’ve come across before. Kat helped me get the VBAC I had so deeply needed and wanted. Without her, I wouldn’t have been able to do it. She guided me through every step of being in the hospital, helped my husband and I navigate every twist and turn that came up during labor, and carried me emotionally and physically through a very hard and unexpected labor. I genuinely felt her love and care for me. She was rooting for me from day 1 and created a relationship and environment where I could trust her and trust myself to make hard choices. I will absolutely be staying in touch and using her in any future pregnancies. I am so so grateful I found these amazing women!Posted on Google Brittany MerrellTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. As a first time mom hoping for an unmedicated birth, I knew I’d need proper support. I found Embrace and was matched with Victoria as my primary doula and Brittany as my backup. Throughout my pregnancy, Victoria would check in in group chats and both her and Brittany would offer support. The owner, Dana, also checked in with me regularly! Towards the end of pregnancy, Victoria checked in very frequently and supported me through the last few weeks of being “overdue” which was so helpful as the stress during that time only increased. During labor, Victoria was amazing and helped keep me calm and regulated. She helped me with positioning and incorporated my husband constantly. She also got a ton of photos and videos that we’ll cherish forever. I know for a fact my labor experience would not have been as positive if she was not there. Having a doula during this experience was invaluable and I couldn’t recommend Embrace enough.Posted on Google Liz Cowley MarrTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stephanie (birth doula) made a huge impact on my L&D experience. She was an advocate for me and my wishes, took the pressure off my husband to be my physical support and just focus on my emotional support, and made sure I was heard every step along the way. We loved working with Brittany (night doula) during the first few weeks of my 2nd baby’s life. She provided excellent comfort, care, and a calm disposition which helped everyone in the family get more rest. Highly recommend both professionals and the entire Embrace team.Posted on Google Lauren CarrollTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. At the beginning of my pregnancy, I wasn’t sure where to start. All I knew was that, as a first-time mom, I wanted to feel supported and advocated for. From my very first phone call with Dana, I immediately felt that Embrace Doulas would be the right fit for me. Throughout my pregnancy, I did have moments of second-guessing my decision, mostly due to my own fear and hesitation about being vulnerable in front of someone I didn’t know. I’m naturally a very timid person, so that uncertainty felt overwhelming at times. However, those doubts quickly disappeared once Dana matched me with Brittany and Victoria. Brittany was incredibly supportive and open during our initial phone call, and when I met both her and Victoria in person, they were so genuine and comforting. They made me feel at ease right away. Now, three months postpartum, I can wholeheartedly say that having Brittany with me during the birth of my son was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Even with the support of my mom, having Brittany on our team made such a difference. She helped me stay grounded, navigate each moment, and remain strong through the most challenging—and most incredible—experience of my life. Brittany is truly a genuine, compassionate person, and I can’t thank her enough.Posted on Google Julinette BaileyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Working with Dana as my birth doula was truly one of the best decisions I made. Twice. She supported me during both of my pregnancies, seven years apart (2018 and 2025), and the moment I found out I was expecting my second baby, I knew without hesitation that I wanted her by my side again. Dana has such an incredible depth of knowledge when it comes to everything birth-related. I’m someone who likes to understand every detail, and she was always there to answer my questions in a way that felt both informative and reassuring. Like talking to a trusted friend. During my second delivery, Dana’s presence made an even bigger impact. Dana didn't hesitate to call the nurses for me as many times as needed. She payee close attention to what I was saying and how I was feeling and is because of her that there was a nurse in place just in time to catch my baby. I truly believe that moment could have gone very differently without her. It speaks volumes about her attentiveness, experience, and dedication. Having Dana as my birth doula has been such a blessing. I will forever be grateful for her support, guidance, and the calm confidence she brought to both of my birth experiences. My husband was very grateful for her as well.Posted on Google L. MooreTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I decided relatively last minute in the scheme of pregnancy timeline to move ahead with having a doula. After posting on my local Facebook page, multiple people recommended Embrace and I could not be happier to have gone with them! I was paired with Brittany as my primary and Deshonda as my secondary after having a call with Dana, who was super sweet. The in person meeting with Brittany and Deshonda was very informative, and then literally cannot imagine my delivery without Brittany! She is amazing! Using Embrace is 100% worth it and you won't be able to imagine giving birth without a doula.Posted on Google Rachel DeppenschmidtTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. 10/10 experience from start to finish. We initially met with Dana, owner and founder of Embrace Doulas. After our introductory call, my wife and I were paired with Brittany and Monica- Brittany being our primary doula and Monica our backup in the event Brittany was unable to make our birth. Brittany was scheduled to go on vacation but we were so happy to be paired with both her and Monica, as we would have been so content and comfortable with either of them attending and supporting our birth. Monica showed up to every meeting right alongside Brittany - we even had a group chat where both were incredibly helpful right from the start. Even Dana would reach out checking in to make sure everything was going well throughout my pregnancy! With every ounce of luck possible, I went into labor two days prior to Brittany's departure. What a blessing that was. Brittany was so helpful and hands on from the moment we met her. Between answering crazy first time mom questions and concerns throughout my pregnancy, texts checking in especially as it got closer to go-time (I was almost a full week late) & literally hands on support the day I went into labor. Brittany provided support in ways that I did not know we needed. Not only for myself but for my wife as well. We were thrown many hoops and obstacles the day of our delivery and if we didn’t have Brittany to help cope with each wrench thrown into our birth plan, I probably would have had a *very* different ending to my birth experience. After everything, Brittany is now considered like family. She still receives pictures and updates of our little girl, and is never getting removed from our new years card list! Once we finally get the ball rolling for baby number 2, we will definitely be requesting Brittany and using embrace doulas again. Truly worth every penny… you’re paying for so much more than day-of support and I couldn’t thank Dana, Brittany, & Monica enough for all the support we received and continue to receive months later.Posted on Google Allie CrisantiTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dana and her team are the best. I worked personally with Dana and Stephanie for almost an entire year navigating 2 pregnancies and a miscarriage. Dana was gracious and kind enough to help me navigate both loss and birth under the same contract and counseled me through multiple stressful moments during my full term pregnancy as well. During labor Dana coached me through the whole process and allowed me to reach my labor goals. This company really is amazing!Posted on Google Holly ArmbrusterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Incredibly grateful to have had Victoria by my side during my labor! Having someone by your side with a doula knowledge that knows your wants and is able to check and help advocate for you is Incredibly important. Especially if your situation ends up being different than planned. Victoria was exceptional with this. I couldnt be more thankful for her. She was there for me throughout my pregnancy as well. I had conference calls with her and was able to run anything by her. I had a group chat with her and Kat for any questions. Kat was there for me as well in case Victoria wasnt available which I loved! Victoria and Kat visited my house and reviewed my whole plan A and B with me while I pregnant. Made me feel confident and safe. Cant recommend Victoria enough!! Thank you so much!Posted on Google SeanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dana at Embrace Doulas! We took her three session/week child birth education class, as we prepared for our family’s first baby. From start to finish, it exceeded every single expectation we had. Dana was not only deeply knowledgeable, but also incredibly warm, supportive, and passionate about her work. Dana created such a safe and empowering space for me and my wife to learn. Dana routinely stayed late to ensure that the curriculum was covered in full despite the delays we caused with all our questions. Each class Dana gave us thoughtful handouts and checklists to take away some of the mental load associated with childbirth preparation/planning, which is HUGE by itself. We felt the curriculum was comprehensive, digestible, well-organized, and really met us where we were at. Dana literally bent over backwards at times to ensure we understood certain birthing positions. We came away feeling much less anxious about the challenge that is childbirth. Dana helped us take the mental steps into childbirth with a broad foundation of knowledge as well as a framework for how to navigate and manage decisions during our unique experience. I will recommend her class to every first time parent I ever meet.
